The workstations behrotest® SMA-ARB offer the complete basic configuration for heavy metal digestion with aqua regia in 6 or 12 samples simultaneously.
The components:
Precision heating block HMD with 6 or 12 sample positions for round digestion vessels with Ø 41.8 mm, temperature range 20 to 300°C
External controller ET 2, temperature range 20 to 450°C, time adjustable from 10 to 999 minutes or constant operation
6 or 12 round digestion vessels SR 2, 250 ml, with standard ground joint NS 29 and container ring made of PVDF
6 or 12 Ball reflux condensers SFK 50
6 or 12 Absorption vessels AS 1
Insert / yoke-type frame SG/B made of non-corrosive stainless steel for 6 or 12 reaction vessels
Basic frame with cooling water distribution and condenser holder for 6 or 12 sample positions
SMA-ARM
The workstations behrotest® SMA-ARM are equipped with a programmable, microprocessor-guided
controller in one to collect nitrose gases. For the user, this means more operating comfort and functionality in the daily laboratory routine.
Like SMA-ARB, however:
Instead of the control device ET 2 external microprocessor-guided controller TRS 300, temperature range 20 to 399°C, adjustable time from 1 to 999 minutes, comparison of reference and actual temperature or time during digestion, up to 25 temperature-time levels can be programmed and, in addition,
PTFE sleeves for glass parts
Insert / yoke-type frame SG/B made of non-corrosive stainless steel for 6 or 12 reaction vessels
Transport stand TS for sample preparation and sample transport
Basic frame with cooling water distribution and condenser holder for 6 or 12 sample positions
Hood AH for collection of nitrose gases of 6 or 12 samples, with connection possibility for suitable extraction and cleaning setup (e.g. behrosog 3)

- SR2 optimal heating of sample with special behrotest heating block & glass construction
- the SR2 have a collar made of PVDF. As a result, all reaction vessels can be inserted and removed in the block simultaneously. The PVDF collar keeps tension away from the glass vessel
- The NS29 ground joint connections have a large connection surface, which therefore provides a high degree of tightness between the reaction vessel and the condenser
- Th electronic control is separate from the heating block and therefore fully protected from aqua regia vapors outside of the extraction hood.
- Cooling is also possible by means of a recirculating cooler
- Each cooler is supplied individually with the same pressure and temperature of the cooling water, thus ensuring optimum cooling performance
