COD precision heating blocks for 6, 12 or 24 samples
- Casing made of powder-coated steel and non-corrosive stainless steel
- Extensive insulation of the heating block for unobjectionable temperatures on the casing surface
- End-to-end grooves in the plates at the bottom of the bore facilitate sample handling and increase the safety of the user
- During insertion of the reaction vessels, the grooves balance the pressure. This way, the vessels can be lowered precisely into the bores and the user can work with the insert frames without any problems.
- Traces of liquid on the outer walls of the reaction vessels evaporate immediately when inserting the sample in the hot block. The grooves guide the steam off and prevent the breakage of glass as a result of them jumping from the pressure.
- In case the vessel overflows, the sample flows outward via the groove. This reduces the risk of acid damages in the heating block.
The extensive construction guarantees an exact and even temperature at all sample positions
