The behrosog® 6 is a high-performance, four-stage gas scrubber system designed for the reliable separation and neutralization of inorganic acid fumes, particularly those generated during Kjeldahl digestion.It protects both the user and the environment, reduces operating costs, and operates entirely without a water connection—making it ideal for modern, efficient laboratory environments.

The behrosog® 6 combines proven purification technologies into a compact, self-contained system. During Kjeldahl digestion, acidic fumes are reliably extracted via the scrubber unit and treated in an efficient four-stage cleaning system:.

• Cooling of process gases
• Neutralization of acid fumes
• Separation of condensate via integrated condensate traps
• Absorption of remaining residual gases using activated carbon

The purified exhaust air is then safely discharged via a hose and directed into a fume hood. The device features an electronically controlled vacuum pump with a flow rate of up to 34 l/min, a digital display with a central control knob, and a status indicator. It is multi-voltage compatible (100–240 V AC) and requires no water connection.
